Manage your profile details, security settings, and account. Access your profile by going to Settings > Profile.

Profile Details

Update your personal information in Settings > Profile.

Full Name

Your name is displayed throughout the app and in any shared reports. Click Edit to update your first and last name.

Email

Your email address is used for login and notifications. To change your email, click Edit and verify the new address.

Password

Keep your account secure with a strong password. Click Edit to change your password. You'll need to enter your current password to confirm the change.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add an extra layer of security to your account by enabling 2FA. Once enabled, you will need your phone to log in.

To enable 2FA:

1. Click "Enable 2FA"

2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)

3. Enter the verification code to confirm

We recommend enabling 2FA to protect your financial data.

Danger Zone

Actions in this section are permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete Profile

Permanently delete your FinWise profile and all associated data. This action cannot be reversed.

Before deleting, consider:

β€’ Export your data - Download your transactions and reports from Data Export

β€’ Cancel subscription - You can cancel without deleting your data

To delete your profile:

1. Click "Delete Profile"

2. Confirm by entering your password

Your account and all data will be immediately and permanently deleted.
