Insights Overview
The Analyze page gives you tools and visualizations to understand your spending patterns, track trends, and gain insights into your financial habits. Explore your data through multiple views.
Analyze Page Views
The Analyze page has four main views:
• Breakdown - Pie chart showing spending by category
• Trends - Bar chart of spending over time
• Cash Flow - Sankey diagram of money flow
• Table - Spreadsheet view of categories by month
Switch between views using the tabs at the top.
Date Range Selection
All views share a date range picker. Choose from presets like:
• This budget period
• Last month
• Last 3/6/12 months
• Year to date
• Custom range
• All time
Data Type Options
Choose what to analyze:
• Expenses - What you spent
• Income - What you earned
• Net Income - Income minus expenses
• Net Expenses - Expenses offset by category refunds/returns
Filtering
Filter your analysis by:
• Categories or category groups
• Tags
• Accounts
Filters apply to all views, making it easy to drill down into specific areas.
Exporting Data
Each view has an Export button to download your data as CSV. Great for further analysis in spreadsheets or sharing with financial advisors.
